I was listening to a TWIP podcast the other day, and was introduced to the concept of iphoneography - literally just photos taken with your iphone, or other mobile phone. I didn’t even know this sort of thing existed in such a defined form, but of course it does - your phone is on you all the time, photographers are continually seeking new and different ways of taking photos, and the iphone offers a lot of challenges to work with.
A quick Google search for “iphoneography” yields tons of results, a couple of my favourite photo blogs on the subject: Just What I See and Jack Hollingsworth.
So I was wandering the sea wall this afternoon, my phone was of course with me, and so I pulled it out and experimented with iphoneography. Much, much fun. My favourite camera app to work with at the moment is Camera+, but I also love Instagram.
